Melt enemies in the Shadowlands with this (courtesy of Blood of Lathander).
Did the ambush on Kar'niss last night and easy peasy. When even Shadowheart is melting enemies, with Glyphs of Warding and Sunbeam, you know it's gonna be a easy W.

I really wanted to learn this spell naturally on my Light Cleric on my Tactician playthrough. I've taken a level in Wizard which seemed natural as a Cleric of Mystra so hopefully will be able to learn it from a scroll later down the line. I've also got the 17 INT from Headband of Intellect. Wandering around in robes trying to get as close to divine caster vibe like a Divine Soul Sorcerer haha.

I just bought a Scroll of Sunbeam from the Society of Brilliance vendor in The Lodge in Act 3. Didn't see that it existed anywhere on here so i figured I'd share, enjoy learning it wizards!

This spell is SUPPOSED to function the same way that Moonbeam does, where it is a continuous effect that can be relocated by recasting for free when enemies change position on the battlefield which lasts for 10 Turns. However, it instead seems to be an instantaneous spell instead whenever the weapon ability is used in game as once the damage and/or blindness debuff is incurred, the spell effect on the ground dissipates.
This is because the tooltip itself is errata that has since been changed in the new update.
Per recent the patch notes: "Fixed the Blood of Lathander's Sunbeam tooltip incorrectly stating you can recast it in combat for free."

This spell is bugged. It's supposed to work exactly like "Call Lightning" which creates a new UI/Button on the right of your hotbar to reactivate the spell.

I aquired The Blood of Lathander with this spell on however it wont let you recast the spell as described
Scroll of sunbeam is also given to you via Omeluum's boon bag for completing his quest in act 3.
