      It's the strongest spell in the game and anyone can cast it with the abundant number of scrolls that are available, and the insane amount of money you get over the course of the game. Your build doesn't matter if you have this in your pocket because even your weakest RP build character could cast it to bolster the rest of the squad. If you're a sorcerer you can double itls length or quicken it as a bonus action, even in scroll form. You can also cast from within it so you could sit there for 6 turns completely invincible to outside threats while you just bombard them with all kinds of things. It exists to trivialize the game. All your tank builds don't matter, all your min maxing to burn enemies down in a single turn won't matter because you will beat any boss in the 3 turns of invincibility... And if you don't, well there are tons of ways to cast it over and over and over again so whatever fight you're struggling with I promise you this single spell is the answer to every fight in the game. It validates any build you can think of because they cannot hurt you and you can buy an infinite number of them.

        This is the best way for clerics to deal with Radiant Retort in the two major fights that utilize it and safely pop off their divine intervention nukes

          I love how in prior editions this was a decidedly "meh" spell unless you are fighting a bunch of casters that are substantially lower level. Now though, it's pretty freaking sweet, particularly given that there is no dispel ability in BG3 available.

            i hate that it's so exclusive. I want to make the ultimate support/healer, and you can definitely do that. but i want this damn spell on my de facto healer lol.

              This spell should be so good. If the enemies could survive long enough to attack back. In the current state of the game, casting this amazing (on paper) spell is a waste of the action you should be spending two shoting enemies. Hopefully the balance gets improved and this spell becomes relevant. If only against a certain lizard.
