I have this ring equipped, but for some reason self immolation is greyed out and I can't cast it even though I have a bonus action. Anyone experiencing the same?
This seems really underwhelming. It takes a bonus action to activate, is once per short rest, and it gives you Heat with a 2 turn duration.
You can toggle Heat Convergence which consumes Heat when you deal fire damage to do 1 extra damage per turn remaining. So this is effectively a bonus action to deal 2 damage on your next fire attack.
And if you don't consume the heat, it will do 1d4 to you each turn.
