Callous Glow Ring is one of the available Rings in Baldur's Gate 3Callous Glow Ring emits a begrudging gleam, almost as if it criticizes the light rather than embracing it. In BG3, there are two types of Accessories, which are Rings or Amulets. Once equipped, these Accessories may give the character certain bonuses, such as new Spells, resistance against certain kinds of damage, bonus AC, an increase to an Ability Score, or more.

I really like using this in combination with Nyrulna. Since Nyrulna has light as a passive, it lights up anyone you throw it at. The thunder aoe from throwing it applies the bonus radiant damage to everyone it touches.

So this procs with someone marked by guiding bolt?
If so this combined with circlet of hunting, potent robe and corellon’s grace is why my unarmed warlock is so dangerous.

        • This ring currently has a bug(?) with Warding Bond in which any damage that you redirect to you ally which cast warding bond on you the ring adds 2 radiant damage.

e.g. if you take 5 damage, you'll redirect 5 damage to the ally plus 2 radiant damage so in total your ally will take 7 damage from redirection before reductions.

I run this with The Blood of Lathender combined with the Luminos Armor, Luminos Gauntlets and really any thing else in my off hand if I feel like dual wielding with the feat or running a shield. One hit makes a enemy almost unable to hit you since your applying 4-6 Radiating Orbs a turn giving the enemy that much of a negative to hit and ontop of that it looks really bad ass when you combine it on a holy warrior themed build.

Damage applies to basically anything. I was throwing flaming flasks which applied the extra damage to multiple enemies at once, and it seemed like the burning damage that it caused also proc'd the damage from the ring again thereafter.

This is actually pretty strong for the right build. I'm playing a Ranger(Hunter)/Rogue(Thief) 8/4 that is a melee brawler with 4 attacks per round with Collosus Smash (targets under 100% health) and Sneak Attacks (Flanking). This procs on all of them for +12 damage per round. My build is built around added damage per hit to maximize the value of the added attack and this fits perfectly.

It seems to proc on anything that is a triggered/reactionary extra damage. So it doesn't proc on a selected sneak attack, only if you add it as a reaction since sneak attack damage is calculated in main damage with a selected sneak attack. It doesn't proc on other added damage from items. After a little testing, it also procs on divine smite and withering strike from Duellist's Perotive rapier. I'm sure there are others and not sure this is intended since other damage adding per hit items don't do this. With the right builds that focus on multiple hits, this is really solid.

The extra damage is considered radiant.

It works on spells and applies to every instance of damage from multihiting spells like eldritch blast and magic missile. It also seems to be buggy such that other sources of extra damage, such as lightning charges from the spark staff, will also roll the damage from the ring again.
