Caustic Band is one of the available Rings in Baldur's Gate 3. In BG3, there are two types of Accessories, which are Rings or Amulets. Once equipped, these Accessories may give the character certain bonuses, such as new Spells, resistance against certain kinds of damage, bonus AC, an increase to an Ability Score, or more.

As of patch 5 this has been (rightly so i guess) moved up to purple rarity, downside of that is it now costs in excess of 1,500 from the vendor!

+2 flat damage to all weapon attacks is a winner no matter the damage type, but acid isn't resisted very often, more than some but less than others. Even in the end-game, Someone making 3 or more weapon attacks per round should have this equipped.

In case you're wondering it shows +2 Acid also on the off-hand, making dual wield +4 Acid damage.
I wonder if it works on multi-hit attacks like the Slayer's attack.

The acid damage on this ring can trigger the Noxious Fumes from the Ichorous Gloves.
I would recommend that setup on a ranged character because the fumes will hit friendlies within range.

A really good ring for my Thief - it adds the damage to the offhand attacks as well. So if I have a theif/fighter multiclass you can do 2 offhand attacks and two mainhand attacks, plus action surge and 2 more attacks - totaling up to 12 extra damage in one turn from the ring alone

In case anyone else wonders, it doesnt work for monks unarmed dmg,

Has a weird visual bug where the +2 acid damage is shown to apply to all of your companions weapons. It went away on it's own somehow.
beware that if you knock her down while wiping the colony (she becomes aggressive too) and then try to buy the ring she does not sell it, so buy it first under invisibility effect, and then kill every mushroom for soup
