Works for me just fine every time combat starts, guessing it was patched in the last 7 months? :P

More importantly though, the momentum buff stays on your character and noticeably works if you are a Wild Shaping Druid

Deep Rothe form at level 5 went up from 12m of movement to 16.5m in the first round of combat.
So, yet another thing to add to the "things that work for druids" list!

It doesnt seem to be working for me. At the start of combat there is no indication that i got momentum and there is no actual increase of my movement speed in meters.

I am playing a Monk and they are able to equip it without it counting as light armor in my play-through. Not sure if that is only if you are playing a monk though.
