Periapt of Wound Closure is one of the available Amulets in Baldur's Gate 3. Periapt of Wound Closure is a rare amulet that maximizes healing received. In BG3, there are two types of Accessories, which are Rings or Amulets. - Potent healing applies to the wearer of the amulet, not the caster of the heal. Meaning you want to put this on whoever benefits most from receiving max restoration of a healing spell.

What does the wound closure feature do? Basically what does stabilizing mean? Do you get up from being downed on a successful death saving throw? I’m guessing not

Does anyone know if this effect triggers correctly in solo play (no party hiding)?
The image here reads Amulet of the Drunkard (an actual other item in the game), yet shows the correct effects of the Periapt of Wound Closure. I saw another player recently share the same error, so it is not exclusive to Fextralife, but an error in-game.

This is really useful for out of combat healing as it affects potions.
Just equip it on whomever is injured, chug a few healing potions and re-equip their preferred amulet.
Always getting 10hp from smol healing potions and 20hp from Greater healing potions is really nice for efficient resource management.

Clarification: Maximizes the number of hit points "TO" the wearer not "BY" the wearer.
Tested and confirmed which also makes sense with the flavor text, but some may find the RAW text a bit vague.
