AnonymousUse of Fog between the bear and the amulet will allow you to get it without having to fight the bear. I was also able to throw the rock up the hill away from the bear and not agro it.

Definitely still there. If you attack or throw the rock it will aggro Ormn, the nearby fishing bear. If you simply drag the rock it will not and you can pick up the Amulet. This Amulet is especially useful to use on Thulla in the Myconid grove as she will give you Boots of Speed as a reward for curing her.

FYI this item no longer exists. Now you just sit on the rock.
