Very annoying boss. There is an additional phantom for each companion or even minion you bring in. Spellcasters can´t realy shine in this battle because the phantoms spawn all around you, have tonns of ressitances and are immune to spells like hypnotic pattern ( but maybe hold creature works) and you cant really land a good aoe without hitting your allies. Better bring companions with martial proffesions and good armor class since every succesfull hit of the phantoms creates a new one. While normal casters have to worry about concentration the phantoms of this guy even stay after he gots killed. For some unexplained reason the baby githiyanki is much stronger than the trained inquisitor and his hole guard.

ok, got through the portal to exchange some useless lines with Ptaris that change totally nothing.. that was WTF nr 1
fight started with him spamming illusions THAT spammed more illussions, upon succesfull hit.. so..

reloaded ;) and took different approach: focused on the little brat with full Leyzell wrath of 6 attacks and got him killed, well.. illusions stayed.. that was WTF nr 2 moment, so..

withdrown whole squad back to guild, pimped my tanks AC to the limit and he enetred the portal solo, once all 7 or was it 8 illusions did their best to miss him ;) Laezel came to aid him, she landed 3 blows, got back the portal.. than got bacak to fight.. and a moment later the locations was clear to loot/explore, only to find:

WTF nr 3 : Ptaris has an amulet that makes a single attack miss your ALLY once per short rest.. beside this location is barren, nothing worth of notice besiede lady Eshter corpse, and you can't talk to her or Ptaris corpse

well, is it only me? or is this Ptaris quest as shitty as it looks?

Does Ptaris just exist to be killed? I passed the persuasion check and made him realize his wickedness, but now we're all just kinda standing around in awkward silence. I cant send him off anywhere or give him life advice? He's a goth prodigy, I cant ask him to help us save Orpheus or fight the Absolute?
