Does this work for the Way of the Four Elements Monk's techniques, since they aren't really spells?

pair this item with obsidian laced robe, incandescent staff (bouth sold by talli on last light inn),thermo arcaic gloves, boots of stormy clamour and ring of mental inhibition and u have a really strong build at the very begining of cursed lands and it would last for the rest of the game.U gain heat and arcane acuity so fast that u will hit fireballs close to much damage all the time.U will need elemental addept fire but its fits really nice since your scrocing rays do really nice damage no need for arcane misseles in this build.i recomend wild magic sorcerrer for some extra pice
