Bonus Action in Baldur's Gate 3 are a type of special actions. Various Class Features, Spells, and other Abilities let you take an additional action on Your Turn called a Bonus Action. The Cunning Action feature, for example, allows a rogue to take a Bonus Action. You can take a Bonus Action only when a Special ability, spell, or other feature of the game states that you can do something as a Bonus Action. You otherwise don’t have a Bonus Action to take.
You can take only one Bonus Action on Your Turn, so you must choose which Bonus Action to use when you have more than one available.
You choose when to take a Bonus Action during Your Turn, unless the bonus action’s timing is specified, and anything that deprives you of your ability to take Actions also prevents you from taking a Bonus Action.

The Sorrow Glaive gives an improved Thorn Whip as a bonus action.
This can be is kinda nice on a gish build but tends to lose out over other things. I've tried to use it on a medium ranged pure caster with a Circle of Spores druid to try and be able to use every single action every turn. It was kinda nice to drag enemies towards me so I could use Halo of Spores but it's not very optimal.

Sorcerers can use Quickened Spell for 3 Sorcery Points to cast a Spell with a Bonus Action instead of an Action.

Are there any bonus actions for magical? Feels like all you get to do is cast utility while melee kills everything

Is this missing spells like misty step or are those listed somewhere else?
You can't use an Action as a Bonus Action if you want to double glug potions in one turn? ):
