They look very ugly together with ''Bow of the banshee'', I recommend them. It was so OP that I used it for a long time.

goes well with items that give radiating orb on hit. A lvl 1 magic missile can leave an enemy more than heavily damaged, prone and with -8 or more to their attack rolls.
I put these boots on Gale, plus "The Spellsparkler", "Gloves of Belligerent Skies" and "Hat of Storm Scion's Power" and "Spineshudder Amulet". Basically reverbs and shocks the **** out of anything, especially with Magic Missile.
Then you can put "Ring of Spiteful Thunder" on someone with thunder on a weapon to daze everything on hit. Try casting Draconic Elemental Weapon or using the "Ring of Elemental Infusion" and casting thunderous smite. Just some ideas, it's a good time.

How these boots are still "green" rarity after patch 5 is beyond me. These things are nasty!

For anyone wondering, you can still get these boots in act 3 if you missed them in the underdark. When you go to retrieve Omeluum, the boots will be in the backpack right behind it.. along with a few other items.

Knockback apparently counts so Thunderwave, Repelling Blast, and even SHOVE work. Strangely and likely a bug, you can toggle off Repelling Blast and still get this to work for normal Eldritch Blast. (Probably what the comment down there from Oct 10 was talking about.)
The first time a creature enters an instance of difficult terrain made by the wearer will inflict Reverberation, the same creature wont keep getting Reverberation from the same instance even if they step in and out of the aoe. If a creature only turns "hostile" AFTER the difficult terrain is made, they wont take Reverberation from it.
Ability Drain works, but doesn't inflict Reverberation a second time if you use it for some spells like Chromatic Orb for some reason.
These boots are simple, effective and applicable to a surprising amount of things, just use these for any character you don't plan on using a particular set of boots for. Or do some shenanigans with Gloves of Belligerent Skies and lightning charges/Radiating Orb.

These now seem to be bugged in the opposite direction: they work, but even when hitting the enemy with normal cantrips (e.g. 4 applies with Eldritch Blast)

So yall wanna hear something awesome about these? Paired with the gloves that also induce reverberation the game counts reverberation as the status effect to add more reverberation so its a flat +4 to the ailment with these boots on

September 22, 2023 Patch Notes, they're working!
**Fixed the Boots of Stormy Clamour not applying Reverberation when applying conditions on hostile creatures. The Reverberation stacking cap has been increased to 5.

them seem to not be working even as the latest hotfix #4 is rolled out.

did they broke it or what? I approached group of monsters with phalar aluve debuff and only 1 got reverb, and then I hit them with tigerbarb's cleave and again only 1 got reverb, also tadpole drain ability doesnt trigger it at all
