AnonymousIf you finish the goblin storyline before even meeting the owlbear mother the goblins will not kill it.
However you can kill it without upsetting anyone in your party.
Ironically owlbears are very hungry ironically known for eating their own children if food sources are low. So killing it would give the child a chance to live.

In the few days up to the end of early access, you could pickpocket it, it was targetable and visible/selectable in the head. Doesn't appear so now alas.

you can get it without killing her just leave and come back after a while i did that went to the goblin camp and came back to her dead surrounded by dead goblins

Is there a way to get this without killing the Owlbear? I don't want to kill it :(

Combine the head of a broken spear, with the shaft of a broken spear you get from the Edowin just before you go to the owl bear, to get "vision of the absolute" spear. neat!
