AnonymousI never triggered any quest but after I killed the dark boys at the camp a perseption check happened on the entrance of the vault. You can't lockpick the revealed door so I casted Fire Bolt with Gale and just got an Attitude -5 with the mushroom couple and that's it, no one attacked me. Went in there, got the item.

I must have missed a trigger for the quest needed to unlock the gate in the myconid colony, but you can cast misty step to teleport inside if you stand on the mushroom

Reward from quest in the Underdark. After you kill deurgars for Myconid colony, you are able to enter the place where lies body of Drow. (Cutscene after giving back the quest shows the place). There you find Shadow of Menzoberanzan and this item in body of mentioned Drow
For anyone looking to start the quest. There is a raised center area of the myconid colony up some mushrooms stairs. Talk to the leader up there to start the quest. Can be started and finished after you do all the steps and the targets are already dead. Go back to the corpse to remove the head.
