Lolth

IMG

Lolth is a Deity in Baldur's Gate 3. Deities are worshiped all along Faerûn, and one must be selected once you create a Cleric. Deities impact how NPCs react to your character and how some events may unfold differently based on the God you worship. There is no other gameplay implication depending on the Deity chosen.

The much-reviled matriarch of the Drow pantheon, Lolth holds sway over spiders, the Underdark, and the infernal creatures of the Demonweb Pits. Her primary goal is to corrupt all Drow, transforming them into heartless cultists.

Lolth related interactions

  • If you play as a Lolth-sworn Female Drow, you gain the opportunity to persuade the spiders in the Shattered Sanctum into believing you are Lolth's avatar. This unlocks the ability to command them into attacking the goblins and fighting alongside you. They also point out that Minthara has lost her ways by throwing Lolth aside and believing in the Absolute instead. Despite Minthara calling them "her spiders" the spiders themselves hate her for betraying their Goddess.

If you play a Lolth-sworn female noble, you have unique inspiration from the wizard that the specator un-petrifies...can't remeber his name

A small interaction in the long one but one that I personally loved and was glad to have in the game.
