Boar Companion is an Animal Companion in Baldur's Gate 3 that can be summoned by using the Summon Companion Action, this creature will help you on your quest and fight on your side.
A boar that can sweep through the battlefield and knock enemies off their feet.
Baldur's Gate 3 Boar Companion Abilities
- Movement Speed: 9m
- Darkvision: 12m
- Boar Charge: The boar charges straight forward up to 9m toward a target without provoking Attacks of Opportunity dealing 1d4+1Slashing damage and forcing enemies along the line to make a STR Save to avoid falling Prone.
- Prey's Scent: Deal an additional 1d6 damage to creatures their Ranger has marked with Hunter's Mark.
Boar Upgrades in BG 3
- Level 3. Tusk Attack: Gore the target to deal 1d6+1Slashing damage.
- Level 5. Rage: Deals additional 2Slashing damage with melee attacks. Has Resistance to physical damage, and Advantage on Strength Checks and Saving Throws. Can use Frenzied Strike (Boar). Rage ends early if the Boar didn't attack an enemy or take damage since their last turn. Can Rage once per combat.
- Level 5. Frenzied Strike: When raging, 1d6+2+Proficiency BonusSlashing (Bonus Action).
- Level 11. Kick Up Muck: Allows the Boar to launch mud at a creature within 9m. This forces the target to make a Dexterity Save or become Slowed for two turns.
Boar Companion Notes and Tips for BG 3
- The boar companion can charge on every turn to attempt to knock a large number of opponents prone. But be wary of it's low HP and AC.
