Persuasion is a Skill in Baldur's Gate 3. Persuasion is a Charisma skill. Skills represent a specific aspect of an ability score, and an individual’s proficiency in a skill demonstrates a focus on that aspect.
Persuasion Information
Persuasion is a Charisma Skill. When you attempt to influence someone or a group of people with tact, social graces, or good nature, the game can make a Charisma (Persuasion) check. Typically, you use persuasion when acting in good faith, to foster friendships, make cordial requests, or exhibit proper etiquette. Examples of persuading others include convincing a chamberlain to let your party see the king, negotiating peace between warring tribes, or inspiring a crowd of townsfolk.

Affects buy and sell prices at vendors. Used to be Performance. Now it's Persuasion!
Just tested in Act 1. At +5 persuasion a rare item cost 400g, at +7 it reduced it down to 368g.
Can also be selected if you play as a human, since they can choose proficiency in any skill.
