Survival is a Wisdom Skill. The game might make a Wisdom (Survival) check to follow tracks, hunt wild game, guide your group through frozen wastelands, identify signs that owlbears live nearby, predict the weather, or avoid quicksand and other natural hazards.

Most useless imo. Besides detecting buried treasure which you could use your shovel around the area where the check failed anyways to dig up the treasure. Sometimes it gives information about tracks about something you could have figured out without it.
