Any tales about the Paladins of Velen are so ancient as to be almost certainly hearsay. Irrefutable, however, is the powerful blessing they left on this ancient shield, which inspires heart-fluttering bravery to this day. |

If you already have 4 spell slots, does this give you a 5th? Because it seems like it doesn't.

Can confirm, massive bug. Equip and unequip as a level 2 sorcerer using create sorcery points and create spell slot. Un-fun amount of power.

Interesting use with warlocks. This provides a "generic" spell slot rather than a warlock spell slot. If you happen to have and genuine level 1 spells such as hex or witchbolt you can use this slot instead of your other potentially more useful skills. In terms of hex, even if you unequip the shield you are still able to re-cast hex without expending additional spell slots.

This item is game breaking and i hope they fix it.
Any lvl 2 sorcerer can do this:
If you use level 1 spells slots to create sorcery points (Must not be wearing the shield while using/converting lvl 1 spell slots), and then equip/unequip the shield, it will refill your lvl 1 spell slots up to max.
STEP 1: Convert lvl 1 spell slots to sorcery points >>-<< refill lvl 1 spell slots etc..
STEP 2: Create infinite lvl 2-3-4... spell slots with sorcery points
STEP 3: You are now incredibly op since u can always upcast lvl max spells.
STEP 4: Stop this madness it's completly unfai and you will get 0 pleasure from winning!

When equipping this my spells lots get reduced to 2 level one spell slots. Seems like a bug.
