At first I was confused to about how this cloak works. But It works only on the poisoned condition such as the spell ray of sickness or pair with the posioners gloves. Does not work with posion damage type only the condition "poisoned"

Does this just not work for anyone else? I have it on Asterion, and he coats his weapon in poison, then successfully poisons an enemy... then nothing. No healing.
