    • I tried all elixirs. And this is the best for Wizards. Not because of initiative and not because you lose turn if you catch suprprise. It's because when you surprised - you can't use reaction. So if you be catched by a couple of trees and alone - you will hardly gangbanged because can't use shield.

      In additional initiative give you chance to just to cast spell first, but to cast it before enemies try to walk and it often will stand near each other.

        the item 'hook' dropped from hook horror's works for crafting the Elixir of Vigilance as well. Haven't seen 'bloodstained' version of said item yet.

          It's the alert feat in an elixir. Pretty good deal considering you can pop one on your paladin and they now go first. Way better than hill giant potion not being surprised means you can cast whatever you need and you save up on a feat.
