Has anyone tried reducing their strength score below 0? In BG2 it would cause the ability value to loop around to the max.

To remove the indefinite strength debuff (or any others from the tasty hag potions) just die and be revived. That's *fully* die, not get downed; it will remove the debuff and you'll be good to go.

I tried to use the "Remove Curse" scroll to get rid of the +2 STR Curse effect, but it still applied the -1 STR indefinite effect.

To break the effect you need to kill the character to resurrect him.

Just drank the potion 'Broken Promises'
Str + 2 until long rest, then after resting, Str -1 indefinitely.
So sad, I'm running with Loviatar's Love and it will be gone too, once I die fully T_T
