Magic Initiate: Druid

You learn 2 cantrips and a Level 1 spell from the druid spell list. You can cast the Level 1 spell once per Long Rest. Your Spellcasting Ability for all 3 spells is Wisdom.

      Just in case someone else is trying to take this feat to get Shillelagh for the Eldritch Knight:

      The tooltip contradicts itself, shows up as a WIS spell but also says it uses your spellcasting ability. The latter is the correct one.
      Not sure if that applies to the rest of the spells since i didn't test them, but there's that.

        Question: If I picked "Speak With Aniamls" for the 1st LVL Spell, would I still only be able to use it once per Long Rest, despite the spell itself being a Ritual, thus not using a Spell Slot?

          I might be crazy, but isn’t this literally just worse than just taking a level in Druid? I guess the only benefit is that you will keep progressing a specific class to reach higher level features, but otherwise multiclassing is strictly better.
