If you steal Connor from the coffin and ressurect him somewhere else, he becomes hostile. After you kill him and bring him back to Mayrina to ressurect him, he awakens to attack and kill Mayrina lol.

I killed Maryna during the battle against the hag. I tried to use the wand on the corpse in the coffin just outside the hag's house. it worked but it attacked me immediately and after defeating him, the wand was gone from inventory.

So..I threw it into the swamp I had no interest in using it or even bringing it up I didn't see a option for breaking it and now the quest is stuck with the wand unreachable.. I am open to suggestions but it's OUT there I threw it almost as hard as my paladin could XD

Zombie Connor is the most useful thing you can get in the game. You can use him for so many things. See a lever on the other side of Grymforge? Connor. Want a chest moved off a ledge? Connor. Items you can't quite reach? Connor.

If you give the wand to Mayrina, you can pickpocket it from her right after. It will remain Bitter Divorce.

If you keep the wand and let her grieve, you have the ability to use it on player character to revive them the same way a scroll does.

                • If you decide to keep the wand & Connor for yourself it becomes a new wand called "Second Marriage". An odd quirk of this wand is that it currently takes TWO actions to use (one when you click it, and another when you select the spot to summon Connor). This means if you try to use the Wand in combat you'll eat your action and not be able to summon him unless you drink a Potion of Speed or similar effect to give yourself an extra action.

Connor lasts for approximately 1 minute (10 rounds) but there does not appear to be a limit to how often you can summon him even if he dies to radiant damage. He has a little more HP than a normal zombie from Animate dead but only deals 1d6 + STR rather than 2d6 + STR. In addition, he doesn't inflict "Crawling Gnaw" like Animate Dead zombies so he can't spawn additional zombies for you.

Even with his limitations he makes a very useful trap "detector" - we just used him to trigger all of the mines in the southern entrance to the Goblin Camp for example.

I managed to sneak by without triggering Ethel, got into her workshop and took Bitter Divorce. Then I left (I was underleveled for the fight), and when I came back to finish the quest, I no longer have Bitter Divorce in my inventory. I went to the traders to see if I somehow sold it by mistake, I checked all of my character's bags, and I checked my camp's supply box. I can't find it anywhere. Is this a bug or did I just sell it and it despawned?

                    • So i've done a bit of a discovery.
When i ressurected Connor and claimed the wand for myself, it became a summoning item.
However when i chose "destroy the abomination" Mayrina tried to kill me, i kill Connor and knocked her out.
Then i noticed on the ground, the wand, so i picked it up trying to summon Connor...it didn't say, i held it on Rina's unconscious body, it said "Target must be Dead" which was strange, so i moused it over to Connor "Target must be a playable character" so i got curious and killed one of my companions and used the wand on them, i clicked them, then it wanted me to pick a Location, but no matter where i tried to click, nothing happened, so, i clicked on Connor's corpse, and it Resurrected Both of them and swapped their places.
I have absolutely no idea if this is a consistent bug, or an actual feature, ressing your companion for free, at the cost of needing an enemies' corpse.

Please, if someone else could try this aswell to confirm if it's for more than just me.

I managed to kill ethel before she got through the fireplace, I alsio didn't see the control orb to let her out and looted the hag's room before i released her. i think this bugged the quest. Mayrina just recycles her dialogue, and won't leave or accept the wand, and the coffin is still behind the barrier.

Summons a zombie with 22 HP, nice edition if you want to play as a warlock / necromancer in addition to summon undead. Funny item, but you need to pick the right answers in the conversation with Mayrina.
