How to Complete Balthazar's Bookcase Puzzle

  • Succeed a Perception check to find a Protruding Book at the top of the bookcase, interact with it to reveal a pillar nearby, and then place a Heart from one of the corpses around the room in it.

      I absorbed the shadow weave on the same day as I destroyed the Sigil and I did not get Mystra's Benevolence. Idk if it's a big or intentional.

        Is it bugged after a long rest or just it go away when you don't blow him up given that he is defying Mystra

          Doesn't say it goes away on long rest, although the wiki says it does. I'm kinda glad it does because it would put my war caster feat to waste.
