Actually the Con rolls work too, but you have to fail them. This is the perhaps the easiest method, because there's some rotten food in the room next door (not the torture chamber, the other side) and eating it gives you basic poison, which is Disadvantage on Con rolls.

Pretty awesome on a Barbarian player character or Karlach. 30% of a massive HP pool is still a LOT of HP to ride this buff with.

So obviously plenty of mouthbreathers in the comments as usual.

It doesn't matter which choices you take, as long as you pass the rolls.

I think I lost this because my character died and was resurrected. Guess you gotta play carefully or risk losing the buff for good.

After you turn hostile with the camp he seems to have gotten up and left? Unable to get the buff now unfortunately

The buff this applies is bugged. On MC once the buff is applied it remains until long rest as stated by the tool tip. On a companion the buff is removed if their HP goes above 30% even though it’s the same tool tip. I’m not sure which is bugged but one base to be.
