• There are different ways to enter this area, use the well in Blighted Village, or through blacksmith's basement. You can also jump to Underdark from this location. (Feather Fall required)
• 
  Break the wall to enter the Whispering Depths.
• 
  Be careful when you exploring Whispering Depths, there's Phase Spider Matriarch near the waypoint. Defeat her and you can get Poisoner's Robe (Uncommon clothing). You can use sleep spells on spiderlings to make the fight easier.
• The Dark Amethyst needed for quest Search the Cellar can also be find in this area.
• With the Feather Fall spell, you can directly jump to Underdark from this area.
