Weapon Recipes in Baldur's Gate 3 can usually be crafted during certain Quests, and sometimes they cannot be obtained in any alternative way other than Crafting. For example, the Sussur weapons can be crafted during the Finish the Masterwork Weapon quest where players will be given a set of blueprints that can be used for Crafting Weapons at a furnace. An alternative type of crafted Weapon is Forged Items which are done during The Adamantine Forge quest.
Crafting in Baldur's Gate 3
Crafting in Baldur's Gate 3 will require you to gather specific Materials and Ingredients which can then be combined in order to create a new item. Items that t can be crafted are usually sorted as Potions, Elixirs, or oils, which are all useful during combat. Ingredients for Crafting are found in the wilderness and foraged in the game. Other Items are usually obtained through chests, as drops, or as quest rewards.
To craft, access your items and you will have the option to Extract all Ingredients or Filter Craftable Only items. This page will then also give you the Alchemical Solution. This allows you to set the amount you want to craft before choosing to Craft Item on order to obtain your new item.
Forging Weapons Baldur's Gate 3
The only forgeable items in Baldur's Gate 3 are Weapons and Armor which are forged as part of The Adamantine Forge quest. Other weapons such as Sussur Weapons can be Crafted in Finish the Masterwork Weapon. This limits players to crafting Adamantine and Sussur Weapons and Armor only as of Early Access. The Crafting process for these items either require players to visit the Adamantine Forge, Grymforge, or a Melting Furnace or otherwise, they can be crafted from your inventory. Look at all Forged Items for items related to this quest.
- The Adamantine Forge quest can be activated by talking to the Duergars found in Grymforge, mining boulders that are blocking a path. If you play your card correctly, the Duergar will reveal to you that there's an Adamantine Forge that they are looking for. Follow The Adamantine Forge quest guide to complete the quest and find the forge.
- Finish the Masterwork Weapon is a quest acquired in Act 1 which provides players with a set of blueprints to craft Sussur Weapons at a furnace.

ANemecGamer: You can put Sussar bark in the firepit of heithclif's basement, located in the Blighted Town, then put a longsword, greatsword, or sickle to created a masterwork (+1) version that can silence enemies on hit.

if you combine some herbs with the cauldron outside the dwarf healer woman you can make the antidote to cure yourself i know that one atleast
Well I guess I have made the only craftable item in game thus far. Not a bad weapon either. Anyone else there is more crafting than there was in DOS2. DOS1 had great crafting I really hope its added. If not in the full game hopefully the modding community will be able to supplement game devs.

Broken spear shaft + spearhead @ anvil = Vision of the absolute rare spear.
it's a shame that we go from 3 weapons in act 1, all usefull, one goated to nothing in act 2 then very rare crossbow in the same location where you get a legendary bow with haste.
