- Your hit point maximum increases by 2 for every level you have gained.
How to Unlock Tough
You'll need to fulfill the following requirements to unlock Tough
- All Classes at Level 4
Tough Tips & Notes
- "Hit Point Increase" is the name of the Feature granted by this Feat, which basically has the same effect but given as a Feature.
- This feat is retroactive. Which means it grants +2 HP for every level. For example, if you take the feat at Level 5, you get 2HP per level, which equals out to 10 HP. This is still the exact same as "double your current level at hp", in this case 5x2 = 10HP increase.
- Recommended for new players as they learn the mechanics of the game, especially during the first playthrough. You can swap it out later once you have a better understanding of the game mechanics, classes, and combat in general.

Why would you ever take this over +2 constitution except when having maxxed out constituion already?
By leveling constitution you're also more likely to succeed CON checks so I do not see the value in this feat.

The feat is bugged, tried to apply it to Karlach at level 8. During the level up it states my max HP will be 101 as soon as I am out of level up menu it goes down to 85 max HP.

Dwarves toughness (+1), Tough (+2), Barbarian (12 first level, then 7 subsequent), Constitution of 20 (+5).
If I did my math right, Should have total hps of 185 HPs. With Wildheart Bear Rage, that's effectively 370 hps.

Am i missing something or is this just a worse version of taking ASI and hitting con+2? Amulet aside.

Does this scale as you level up after taking this or is it just the 2hp per level when you took it?

Unfortunately mandatory to take at level 4 if you play on tactician. You will most likely be able to respec' it out later on but as of today, because of the rubbish balance of tactician, there is no other option for all characters.
