This spell has Advantage on creatures wearing metal armour, and does not work on Animated Armour, which is literally just metal armor.

Should at least stop attack of opportunities if you want to run your wizard away from scary metal knight. Also some spells can be reactions, probably useful vs a boss somewhere. Wonder if monk can use this with a fist attack?

If I remember right, isn’t the extra effect based on a saving throw? And if the target is wearing metal armor they have disadvantage?

One of the best cantrips, it prevents the enemy from using ANY kind of reaction. That includes some annoying ones like "Ready to parry" or Counterspell".
