Sheep is an animal.
- Speak with animals/dominate beasts/animal friendship spell should yield a result.
- Animal Handling should come into context.
- INT of target poly'ed has dropped below 5.
- Can still be pick pocketed?
- May have interaction with bards playing music.
- May have interaction with wolf familliar?

Turn big monster into small sheep, push off cliff, great success

I bet there is some broken synergy with this spell yet to be discovered

damn. I haven't got the game yet (waiting for PS5 version) but was really looking forward to porting in my adventures league wizard who regularly pollymorphed into a t-rex or Giant ape to help in fights when the rest of my spell casting was getting low. :/ guess I'll just have to rely on his necromancy shenanigans now

Polymorph has been nerfed so had that it is literally monomorph.

I feel like turning enemies into frogs would've been more fitting.

It feels like Casters have overall been heavily nerfed.
This is just another example of how... Please, I get the necessity to fix certain broken combinations or re-writing spells into the game... But this is just an insult.
Polymorphing the Barbarian with 1 hit point into a Giant Ape, or the Giant Ice Worm into a Turtle is how this spell should be used.

What?! Now I am glad to have made a Warlock and I shall not take the Body Sculptor invocation. To take the most fun spell in D&D 5e history and make it into a sheep spell is criminal! I have used this spell in the tabletop to turn into might beast's as a wizard, to turn an ally into T-rex and ride it onto battle! It was glorius! Please devs, you created a magical game, change polymorph back to the powerhouse spell it is ought to be!

Another spell that will obviously need modders to fix and make it worthwhile. I want to be able to polymorph someone in to a rat, and throw them to the moon!

Darn! I was looking forward to build a polimorph based character. This is just underwhelming! O well let's hope for some good mods...

Out of all the spells translated to from 5e to BG3, I think this one has been nerfed the hardest. I get the reason behind the nef, but this just feels too restrictive to player creativity, freedom, and fun which is inherently against the philosophy of dungeons and dragons. Hate to see it.

"Transform a creature into a harmless sheep."
So no T-Rex shenanigans here, I see. Oh well!

Turns out there is a good use for this spell, but it requires a very specific setup.
Step 1: Be a dark urge character
Step 2: Unlock the Power Word Kill ability (look up on wiki for guide on how to get)
Step 3: Be either an enchantment wizard 10 or at least a sorcerer lvl 2 (Best build is 10/2 multi-class)
Step 4: Polymorph target into sheep (even a boss like Raphael who has 666 hp can be polymorphed)
Step 5: Twin cast power word kill via sorcerer or innately ny being an enchantment wizard lvl 10.
Step 6: Make one target be the sheep and the other be yourself
If you have the 10/2 split then you can do this on 2 targets at once (and then the 3rd target is still yourself)
When you cast power-word kill on yourself, you die but you don't lose the spell. So you can do this as many times as you want. Just have a party member revive you. If you have a high initiative via dex and alert, you can always go first. Then when your party member revives you, you'll have all your actions again. Pair with the helm of grit to get 2 bonus actions to keep making more sorcery points and still twin cast in the same turn.
