The owlbear cub ATE it when I gave it food during its first visit in camp lol

This can be used to fool the Githyanki egg quest apparently. It's really frustrating that Larian made this a consumable food that gets tagged by the auto-select when camping. Mine is gone now.

Wondering if I should sell it or if I can actually hatch it. Guess I'll hang onto it for now.

be wary of using auto select when doing long rest, it would consume this item

For the people wandering, for now just sell it, has no purpose on EA

Give it to a companion you don't ever party up with to hold on to. That way it won't appear in the supplies table every time you long rest.
