Mask of Regret Notes & Tips

  • Notes and tips go here
  • You can toggle "non-lethal attacks" ON from the passives, knocking the masks unconsicious and take off their masks. Mask of Regret might be the only one still sane (?) or atleast the only one able to remove her own mask and happy about Auntie's death, should you kill her.

There is a way to save the halfling, but it's a bit janky. If you kill Auntie Ethel in her lair without killing the masks, the Mask of Regret will be the only sane one left and she has a few dialogue options. Unfortunately, if you kill Auntie Ethel while she is still in the Teahouse it seems that they won't attack you, but there is no option to talk to them anymore, only to attack them.

Not sure if this is new due to Patch #2, but I knocked out all of the Pawns and removing their masks before fighting Auntie Ethel makes them immediately die.

I knocked her out, then went on to defeat Ethel, but didnt kill her and forced her let Mayrina go and give me power.

Now, when i go back, this NPC is permanently hostile to me and wont talk to me, even though i only knocked her out.

Killing auntie early and finding the mask bearers is disappointing because even knocking them out and taking their masks doesn't give different conversation options. May as well kill them all.
