Death Ward Tips & Notes
- For any non-summon spell that lasts until Long Rest, the caster does not need to be in your party once you leave camp as long as the spell does not require concentration. Therefore, you can easily cast this spell on any party members you plan to use while leaving the caster back in camp.
- If the caster of this spell removes it from their prepared spells list, the spell's effect will end immediately.

Had a weird interaction where my character used their action, then died when a "linked" companion in the turn order caused a reaction that killed the Death Ward character. The Death Ward character was able to act again. I think because you actually do go to 0 HP and then you immediately get healed for +1 and never triggers the death but does reset your action? Idk.

This is great to have on the very cleric who can cast it. If others get downed you just heal word them, and you get another chance to not get downed yourself.

Do not trust this spell in honor mode against AoE attacks that are going to down everyone. Learn from my pain. :(
