Longbows | Baldurs Gate 3 Wiki

Longbows in Baldur's Gate 3 are pieces of equipment that are used to inflict damage against hostile characters such as Enemies and Bosses. Longbows are Two-Handed Martial Ranged Weapons in BG3 that can be only be two-handed, dealing 1-8 Damage without enchantments. They have a range of 18m, and they deal Piercing Damage. Being a Ranged Weapon, note that you have Disadvantage on Attack Rolls with Longbows while Threatened.

Many Longbows have unique properties, so you should read carefully what these do, and many also have Weapon Actions that can only be used if you are Proficient with Longbows in BG3. These Weapon Actions are Hamstring Shot and Brace (Ranged).

  There is a longbow sold by Brem in the Zhentarim area beneath Waukeen Rest called the Titanstring Bow. It's a +1 bow that adds your strength modifier to the damage
