Passing the DC 10 Religion check and the passive wisdom check will grant the player inspiration for Gale and a Ray of Enfeeblement scroll

To open the book requires a DC 15 arcana check. However, wizards have an extra option to open the book at a DC 10 int check but without arcana proficiency bonus. A barbarian may attempt to smash open the lock at a DC 15 strength check with advantage. A character who fails to open the lock with arcana/intelligence may attempt the same strength check without advantage to open the lock.
