So I've been wracking my brain a little over this, especially given I can't find any maps in the game which allow the players to travel to such coordinates. Other lines of thought I have are this:

      A) The log was written either as pure flavour-text or for maps which had different coordinates than the final release of the game.
      B) Could it be that gnomes use a different style of cartography which requires translating? I highly doubt this and haven't found anything substantiating the thought online.
      C) He noted the latitude and longitude incorrectly? Missing or adding a minus or perhaps writing the values in the wrong fields. He seemed to be in quite a state when writing the entry.

Do you lot reckon this is just flavour text or a little puzzle from the devs?

Also, has anyone found any locations which have two distinct flames?

I'm pretty sure this journal is just supposed to show how little effort Barcus has put into helping Wulbren

Any ideas on what the numbers mean? Obviously a puzzle with coordinates and perhaps number of paces, degrees for turns, etc, wondering if anyone's figured it out yet
