Asmodeus Tiefling is a Subrace of Tiefling in Baldur's Gate 3. Asmodeus Tieflings have Darkvision and Hellish Resistance as racial bonuses. While creating your Character in Baldur's Gate 3, you can choose between 11 different types of races. Each of them has their special characteristics and some of them have Sub-Races which provide different Features and Traits.

• BG3 Full Game Note: In the full launch of Baldur's Gate 3, Ability Score Points for Races that were present in Early Access are removed. And instead, Ability Score Points in the full game correspond with the Class players will choose.
  
  

Bound to Nessus, the deepest layers of the Hells, these tieflings inherit the ability to wield fire and darkness from the archdevil Asmodeus' infernal bloodline.

Asmodeus Tiefling Traits in Baldur's Gate 3

• Infernal Legacy: Gain access to the following spells using Charisma as the spellcasting ability:
  • Level 1: Produce Flame. A flickering flame appears in your hand. It sheds bright light in a 9m radius and deals 1d8Fire damage when thrown.
  • Level 3: Hellish Rebuke. The next time you take damage, you use your Reaction to surround you attacker in hellish flames that deal 2d10Fire. On Save the target still takes half damage. Long Rest.
  • Level 5: Darkness. Create a cloud of magical darkness that heavily obscures and Blinds creatures within. Long Rest.
    
    

BG3 Tiefling Traits

• Base Racial Speed. Move up to 9m per turn.
• Darkvision: See in the dark up to 12 m.
• Hellish Resistance: Resistance to Fire, take only half damage from it.
    

Asmodeus Tiefling Tips & Notes

• During Early Access, the Asmodeus Tiefling race used to feature +2 Charisma and +1 Intelligence. This has been changed in the full launch of BG3 and the Ability Score points are now associated with the Class that players will choose.
