Saw someone picking it 2 times, does it mean, just technical curiosity, that a Lv 12 Fighter can get +8? (Lv4-6-8-12)

If you visit moonrise tower before getting agressive with the cult, there is a drow there that ask Astarion to bite her in exchange for a +2 STR Potion.

Please put all the options to upgrade ability score here , like hag hair and the mirror

Huh... I thought when you leveled up you had the +2 Ability Score bonus to choose, but instead, with my 4 members I found that if wanted to level up the abilties it was throught the Feat system (forcing me to choose between a good Feat or simply stat bonus). Is it working the way it was meant to be, or should I be able to level up my abilities and also been able to choose feats?

There is a sneaky little way to get a +1 ability score bonus of your choosing (to any attribute you want). When you're in Auntie Ethel's lair just before you get to Mayrina, you need to cast Invisibility and See Invisibility, then go and free Mayrina from her cage before the fight. Once you've done that, you need to sneak every character in your party with invisibility, to all surround Auntie Ethel (you need to See Invisibility in order to know where she is). Then you need to cast Silence over her, and immediately strike her. If you can burst her down to below 30 health (I think it's 30, just because 21 worked for me) in a couple of turns. At this point a dialogue should start where she asks you to stop, and promises to give you "power" to not kill her, this is the +1 Ability Score of your choice.
Anyone else have an issue with the second point doesn't register? Bumped my 17 str 16 con Barbarian up to 18 str and 17 con, which at lv4 would give me 49 health, but as soon as I'm out of the level up screen and back into the world it still says I'm at 45. I used Withers to reverse the decision and just put myself at 19 str, which would take my damage up from 6-19 with my current sword at 17 str, to 7-20 at 18, and surely 8-21 at 19str, but that change is also not registered. Am I filing a bug report?
