Arron is an NPC and Merchant in Baldur's Gate 3. Arron can be found at Druid Grove. Arron is one of the first NPCS that can be found at the Druid Grove. There is a massive amount of NPCs in Baldur's Gate 3, and their ideals, needs and way of living are strictly related to the actions they perform during the course of the game. Their attitude towards you and your party may be affected by the deeds and decisions you and your party taken on.

If you pickpocketed Findal’s circlet (Nature’s Grace) earlier, there’s a chance for Arron (and possibly all the other druids) to be hostile toward you.
Right before you actually blow the battle horn to start the Grove siege, if you go through the Underground Passage/Enclave Library to the Emerald Grove and should Arron happen to see you, he will be hostile.
Arron is the first person you encounter when entering from that way at that time, so he is for certain hostile. I presume the other Druids are too, if they see you first or if you aggro Arron. I just reloaded immediately so I didn’t investigate. I didn’t want the cute halfling vendor friend to be an enemy to me haha.
If you enter Arron's sight range with a PC you pickpocketed him with he'll start walking towards you, if you stay outside his interaction range so that you won't get a warning for pickpocketing, hide and run away from him he'll still follow you endlessly (at least to the edges of the grove).
Be careful not to bug him in some weird locations if you do lead him somewhere! When interacted with he'll still show up as a regular merchant showing his usual location in his shop corner but his actual character will be in a weird location and could possibly be glitched there forever.

Anyone know what quest/event makes him no longer appear in his area? I recently just killed Kagha in her questline. Not sure if that did it. Also Auntie Ethel for the +1.

Poor Arron, the first trader you're likely to encounter, and also the easiest to steal from over, and over, and over again. Thanks little guy.

To add to my other comment, the attitude is based off of the character that starts the interaction first/talks to him.
If you use a low CHA/low attitude character to start the talk & then later swap to the high CHA/attitude character the value won't change.
You need to speak to the trader with the right character from the start of the interaction
His 0 -> 100 attitude cost is 800g
The price of the items he sells drops from 250% to 200% (20% overall discount)
The price also de/increases based on your CHA by 10%+/- .
Example at 100 attitude:
CHA -1 (8) = 210%
CHA +3 (16) = 170%
So just by using a high CHA character with max attitude you see a change from 260% -> 170%
That means an overall decrease of 34,62%~ just by using a dedicated character to sell/buy, this applies in general to all merchants/traders.
That means you need to buy around 2300 gold worth of items to break even with your initial 800g investment.
The increase of gold you get by selling to him scales way more, which makes having at the very least 1 dedicated merchant to sell to very important.
The difference between a -1 CHA character with 0 attitude and a +3 CHA with 100 attitude is 38,5% -> 58.8%
Thats an increase of 52,73%.

Apparently fancies elves. Approval rating goes way up into green, at least using Disguise Self: Elf.
